What we did

  • Logo design
  • Social media marketing
  • Editorial design
  • Branding
  • Visual identity

The project

The Government of Malta, together with Transport Malta, approached us to support their sustainable transport campaign. Our task was to create a logo device that would anchor all the marketing collateral and effectively convey the message. The core idea behind the campaign was to encourage the Maltese people to share their thoughts on transportation policies. The tagline for this campaign would be ‘have your say’.The promotional materials would be distributed across print and social media platforms, and would also include PowerPoint templates.

UX Implementation

To improve the user interface (UI) and experience, a flexbox was created using CSS. This helped to showcase all the courses offered by EMAQ. Additionally, a rollover effect was added to each box, reinforcing the specific course’s color and providing a better visual experience for the user.

About EMAQ

EMAQ is a pre-existing sub-brand within the air quality division of Ricardo. Although it’s fairly well-established, it’s time for a brand refresh and an upgrade of the website. The previous system wasn’t able to cope with the expansion of training leads generated by EMAQ, so the new website needs to be user-friendly and help our consultants manage new inquiries easily. It should also allow them to upload new courses onto the site as EMAQ continues to expand.

The team is willing to take a new, abstract approach to the branding, which will be implemented within the website using artwork images, colours and printed and digital collateral that will be associated with the EMAQ brand. Although the website is based on a Moodle template, backend coding will be required to adapt the website to the functionalities we need and to improve visitor ease of use.
